What is a Parish Plan?
A Parish Plan is prepared by local communities to determine their future and how they can change for the better. The documents set out a vision for the future of the parish and outlines how that can be achieved in an Action Plan. The plan does not just consider property planning issues but should cover a wide range of social, economic and environmental issues. It should include the views of ALL members of the community including children. Work on developing North Ferriby's Parish Plan started in September 2007.
